‘Cocoon’ to Take Part in Italian Festival
TEHRAN -- Iranian short flick ‘Cocoon’ will take part in the 2023 Cinemadamare Film Festival in Italy.
Written and directed by Saeed Bojnourdi, the short flick will go on screen at the 20th edition of the Italian event.
“As a child, Musa suffered a nervous shock in the aerial bombardments during the war, gradually weaves a mental cocoon for himself and avoids others, but love will change his path of life,” a brief synopsis for ‘Cocoon’ reads.
Milad Shajareh, Mahmoud Koneshlou, Sadaf Baradaran, Sara Haqgou, Sadaf Haqgou, Morteza Mousavi and Zahra Khozouee comprise the cast members of the flick.
The Cinemadamare Film Festival is the biggest and free of charge gathering of young filmmakers in the world, an international travelling movie campus and a production center addressed to filmmakers, students and professionals of movie industry.
Since 2003, it runs through Italy during the summer. It starts in Rome at the end of June and finishes in Venice at the end of the Venice International Film Festival.
This year’s edition of the fest is slated for August 1-31.
