Iran’s Spectacular Nuclear Progress, A Victory Over Enemies

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

Do weapons of mass destruction including nuclear, chemical, and biological armaments designed to wipe out sizeable sections of fellow humans, guarantee the survival of the regimes that manufacture or possess them?
No, definitely not.
The prime example in this regard is the Soviet Union which disintegrated after over seven decades of Godless rule.
The US is fast following the same track towards oblivion, but before it ceases to exist, its protégé the nuclear-armed illegal Zionist entity with its devilish record of sadistic terrorism is already on the verge of being wiped out from the map of the world.
History bears witness that the mass murderers of mankind can never salvage themselves from imminent death and destruction. This is evident by the fate of Attila the Hun, Chingiz the Mongol, and Saddam the Ba’thist – to name a few.
This means the Great Satan of our times which in addition to its continued crimes against humanity had in 1945 dropped atomic bombs on the unsuspecting Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, will soon be a thing of the past, in spite of possessing a doomsday arsenal and trying to prevent peace-loving nations, such as the Islamic Republic of Iran, from using nuclear science and technology for development of the civilian sector.
Today, Iran is the cynosure of all eyes around the world for its indomitable stand against Washington’s lies and poisonous propaganda, and especially for its heroic stance of refusing to manufacture nuclear warheads or other WMDs, despite possessing the expertise, the knowhow, and the skills of its scientific brains.
Islam, however, is the religion of peace and it states that even the unjust killing of any single soul is tantamount to the killing of all humanity.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who on Sunday inspected Iran’s progress in the nuclear field, rightly remarked:
“If this Islamic belief did not exist and If we had wanted to build nuclear weapons, we would have done it, and the enemies know that they could not have done anything to stop us.”
This was a direct slap by Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the face of the US that it cannot do a damn thing, and its evil policy of economic terrorism is useless in the face of Iran’s iron resolve.
He noted the admission of the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) after two decades of US pressures that there is no deviation in Iran’s peaceful nuclear projects, and added:
“Domineering powers hold nations back and weaken them by using two methods: The first is to directly dominate the nations and colonize them, and the second, which is more dangerous, is to instill the spirit of ineptitude and the belief of ‘We cannot’ in nations.”
It is thus clear the Islamic Republic has achieved another spectacular victory over the US in the peaceful nuclear field, thereby serving as a model of emulation for world nations aspiring to be free of American pressures.
