Envoy: Iran Stands to Benefit From Russia Ties
MOSCOW (IRNA) -- Iran’s Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali says despite all media hype over relations between Iran and Russia, the Islamic Republic is of the position that it stands to benefit from growing ties with Russia.
Jalali said Iran has a very large capacity to cooperate with Russia as the world’s ninth-largest economy. Russian imports account for around $300 billion per annum, he said, adding that the Islamic Republic can have a share from such a market by increasing its exports to Russia.
