Minister: Two Satellites to Be Launched
TEHRAN -- The Iranian defense chief on Thursday announces plans to launch two more satellites into orbit in the months to come, as the country keeps up efforts to promote its space industry.
Gen. Muhammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani said the Islamic Republic’s missile and space programs must move forward “nonstop.” He said Iran stands among the top few countries in the world in the space industry, especially in terms of satellite launchers.
