27th Iran Oil Show Kicks Off in Tehran
TEHRAN – The 27th edition of the Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition dubbed “Iran Oil Show” was inaugurated in Tehran on Wednesday with the participation of Iranian First Vice President Muhammad Mokhber and Petroleum Minister Javad Owji.
Some 1,500 domestic companies showcase their latest achievements in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
There are also 200 foreign companies from 13 countries, namely Russia, China, Belarus, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and Turkey, displaying their latest achievements.
Senior managers and directors of main domestic companies and activists in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries attended the inauguration ceremony.
The exhibition will run through Saturday, May 20.
Owji has described Iran Oil Show 2023 as the biggest exhibition in West Asia and the world.
Petroleum Minister said that some 200 companies from 13 states have taken part in the economic event, he said.
Russia, China, Germany, France, and Oman are among the foreign participants in the exhibition, he added.
As many as 1,500 domestic companies from Iran have attended the expo, he stated.
The official went on to say that the number of foreign and domestic participants at the event has registered 135 percent, respectively.
This shows the success of energy diplomacy in the incumbent administration in Iran, Owji underlined.
Earlier on May 13, an Iranian Petroleum Ministry spokesman Ali Forouzandeh said that the number of foreign participants has doubled compared to data reported in the previous edition of the exhibition.
Twenty-eight Russian companies have taken part in the 27th Iran International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, also known as Iran Oil Show 2023, and will hold talks with Iranian exporters and economic experts on the development of trade and industrial ties.
The foreign affairs department of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture announced the Russian companies participating in Iran Oil Show 2023 will share ways to improve efficiency in oil, gas, fuel and energy industries with their potential Iranian partners and the visitors from other countries. The Russian companies have showcased their products and services at Hall 38 of Tehran International Permanent Fairground.
Visitors can find and evaluate modern measurement and analysis technologies, the equipment and services used for drilling, pumping, and repairing wells, oil transfer systems to produce and supply equipment necessary for loading and unloading oil byproducts and other technical liquids, water treatment equipment, and technologies to make and develop infrastructure in fuel and energy industry.
As planned by Tehran Chamber of Commerce, the representatives from 28 Russian companies have taken part in over 400 meetings and will discuss with private sector’s economic experts including producers and exporters of oil and industry equipment. They will also hold multilateral talks with Iranian officials.
The presence of Russian companies in Iran Oil Show 2023 provides both countries’ experts with the opportunity to get to know each other and develop mutual economic and trade relations, and above all, paves the ground for joint cooperation in regional and Middle Eastern markets.
The private sector’s economic experts can meet Russian companies at Russia’s pavilion at Tehran International Permanent Fairground. Russian Export Center is a state-owned institute to support processed material exports and offers financial and non-financial support to these companies in global trade.
