Lebanese Festival Awards ‘Hog’

TEHRAN -- Iranian short
fiction ‘Hog’ has been awarded at the 2023 Lebanon International Short Film Festival (LISFF) in Tripoli.
Directed by Majed Rostamizadeh, the short flick was bestowed upon the Best Short Fiction Film award at the 3rd edition of the Lebanese event.
“A hog attacks the village from Baba Nazir’s land,” a brief synopsis for the film reads.
Abdollah Soleimani, Maram Nasseri, Hashem Asahareh, Seyyed-Shaker Mousavi, Majed Parnian, Jafar Rostami, Ameneh Nasseri, Rahil Hayavi and Motaz Asakareh are the cast members of ‘Hog’.
The LISFF is founded by young artists from Tyre and Nabatieh/South Lebanon. The two first editions of the festival were held at Al-Hamra Cinema of Tyre, a cinema renovated in June 2014.
This year’s edition of the fest was held on April 30.
