Do Regional Countries Realize Iran’s Salvaging Role in Syria?

By: Kayhan Int’l Staff Writer

What, if Iran had not rushed to the aid of Syria, when eleven years ago the US and the Zionists, in collaboration with certain Arab regimes and Turkey, had let loose terrorists of all hue and colour, including the macabrely murderous Takfiris into that ancient land?
Syria would have ceased to exist; its Islamic heritage destroyed; its rich culture lost forever; and its people deprived of all identity; with the Zionists taking control of the River Euphrates basin and designing to wipe out Lebanon as well as Iraq right up to the Persian Gulf – menacingly close to the Iranian oil fields in Khuzestan.
On the other side, the Zionists would have easily taken over Jordan with future plans to penetrate the Islamic heartland of Hejaz, and materialization of the dream of ‘Greater Israel’ extending to the River Nile. As for Egypt it would have been turned into a remote mini desert state without access to the waters of that great river.
Turkey for its unwitting role as a conduit for infiltration of terrorists into Syria from all over the world would have been reduced from a powerful Muslim country to a hotbed of terrorism facing possible disintegration, while the Syrian Kurds would have been nothing but US-Zionist pawns endlessly terrorized by the Takfiris.
Thanks to the vision of the Islamic Republic, the foresight of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and the dedication of the Iranian people who decided to offer martyrs in defence of the Islamic holy sites in Syria, the Syrian people – overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim, including the army – were inspired to rise to new heights to defeat the devilish designs of their sworn enemies.
Glory to the soul of Martyr Qassem Soleimani and his brilliant tactics the Syrian people stood solidly behind their leader, President Bashar al-Assan, despite being displaced in great number by the US-backed terrorists and suffering as much as five hundred thousand fatalities – mostly killed by American arms.
The Syrians, in cooperation with their friendly neighbours, the battle-hardened forces of Lebanon’s legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, as well as the Fatemiyoun of Afghanistan, the Haideriyoun of Iraq, and the Zainabiyoun of Pakistan, and of course, vital military support from Russia, triumphed.
Now, with Syria all set in the field of reconstruction where brotherly Iran is again the most prominent partner as was evident by the historic visit of President Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, the Arab and other Muslim countries that had unwittingly bitten the US-Zionist bait of enmity towards of President Assad, have begun to realize the sagacious role played by the Islamic Republic for integrity, sovereignty, and stability of the entire region.
In other words, not just the people of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Occupied Palestine, but also the heads of state of Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and Turkey should all be grateful for the foresight of Iran in salvaging them.
Once, the Muslim world realizes that unity and solidarity is the only way for reviving their past glory, Israel will no longer be on the world map, and the satanic Americans will be driven away for good from our shores.
