TEHRAN -- Iranian animated feature film ‘The Dragon’s Treasure’ will take part in the Stuttgart Trickfilm International Animated Film Festival (TIFS) in Germany.
Directed by famed Iranian filmmaker, Ashkan Rahgozar, the animated piece will be presented at the Presentations, Master Classes, Workshop & Film Talks section of 30th edition of the German event, iFilm reported.
‘The Dragon’s Treasure’, along with two other works, will be showcased as a Work in Progress at the festival’s German Projects & Co-Productions program.
A brief synopsis for the animation reads, “Sayeh is an 8-year-old girl who goes to find the dragon’s treasure in order to save her grandmother’s village from drought. However, she does not know that the real treasure is water, which must flow again in the village’s dry aqueducts”.
The film in production is based on the legendary story at Horakhash Studio with the participation of Canada’s Mystic House Company. This animation has already entered the Mifa Pitches section of the 2022 Annecy International Animation Festival in France.
