‘Fifty Thousand’ Makes Second Debut in Japan
TEHRAN -- The Iranian short film “Fifty Thousand” directed by Hamid Kriwand is making its second international appearance at the 5th International Short Film Festival in Japan.
The film is written by Fardin Rahmanpour, directed by Hamed Karivand and produced by Hussein Tork-Joosh.
It narrates the story of the life of a young boy who lives with his father in a house in the lower city and endures many challenges to survive.
Fardin Rahmanpour, Muhammad Kianiyan, Elaheh Jami, Mahdi Parhizkari and Amir Hussein Qalandri are the main actors of the film.
The International Short Film Festival in Japan is hosting filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts through April 19-28.
