Tehran Gears Up for Int’l Holy Qur’an Exhibition

TEHRAN – With less than three weeks to go before the inauguration of the 30th edition of the Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition, managers and officials of the expo’s different sections and committees were appointed.
In separate decrees, Ali Reza Moaf, the Qur’an and Etrat deputy of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance who is also the head of the exhibition, appointed the officials.
The committees of the exhibition include Qur’anic servants, content, secretariat, administrative, financial, information technology, security, supervision and assessment sections.
The 30th exhibition will open at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla here on April 1 and run until April 15.
“I Read You” is the motto of this year’s exhibition, which highlights the importance of continually reading the Holy Qur’an.
The Tehran International Quran Exhibition is annually organized by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in the holy month of Ramadan, with the aim of promoting Qur’anic concepts and developing Qur’anic activities.
It showcases the latest Qur’anic achievements in the country as well as a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
