TEHRAN -- Iran on Saturday condemned a bomb attack at a cultural center during an event for journalists in Afghanistan’s northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said the perpetrators of such brutal attacks are against stability, security and calm of the people of Afghanistan. They seek to disrupt access to information, enlightenment and peaceful coexistence among the Afghan people, he said. The Iranian official expressed sympathy with the bereaved.
