Last Tuesday night’s huge gatherings in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, Nigeria, and other countries, was yet another confirmation of the growing grassroots movement of the dedicated Muslim masses enthusiastically looking forward to the promised advent of the Saviour of humanity.

    In Qom, in and around the sprawling Jamkaran Mosque over three million men, women, and children held the nightlong vigil on the eve of the blessed birthday of Imam Mahdi (AS), which was also observed in the holy shrine of Hazrat Ma’suma in the same city.

    In Mashad in Khorasan in the northeast millions converged on the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) and prayed fervently for the reappearance of the 12th and Last Heir of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).

    The Iranian capital Tehran along with other towns and cities was illuminated and festivities held on the occasion with firm faith in in the fast approaching end of corruption and the rule of tyrants on Planet Earth.

    In Iraq, the same scenes were witnessed, especially in Karbala where over three million people from all over Iraq and different parts of the world flocked to the holy shrines of the Chief of Martyrs, Imam Husain (AS) and his valiant brother and standard bearer, Hazrat Abbas (AS).

     In Samarra in northwestern Iraq the birthplace of the Mahdi (AS) Tuesday and Wednesday in particular saw pilgrims celebrating the anniversary and beaming with confidence that the plight of mankind is soon coming to its end.

     In Beirut, the capital of Lebanon overflowed with exuberant crowds, mostly youths, intent upon defeating the plots of the enemies of humanity, such as the US and the illegal Zionist entity, in order to pave the way for establishment of Imam Mahdi’s (AS) global government of peace, prosperity, and justice.

     In short, parts of Pakistan, India, Syria, Nigeria, the Caucasus Republic of Azerbaijan, and even the suppressed people of Bahrain and Arabia, jubilantly marked the blessed 15th of Sha’ban undeterred from the persecution of the ruling regimes.

     The Day of the Oppressed, as this date of the Islamic lunar calendar is known, every time sends a shiver down the spines of the deviants and other devilish forces thriving on treason, terrorism, and blasphemy, with the support of the Great Satan.

      As a matter of fact, the mercenaries of the depraved West are seeing their ranks depleted, thanks to the liberating message of the Mid Sha’ban that every year attracts more and more of the initially deceived people, who are eager to repent, rectify their mistakes, and reform themselves.

     The US, the most evil empire in history is visibly alarmed and so are its clients, but there is nothing they can do to avert the inevitable. Even their doomsday weapons are obsolete vis-à-vis Divine Power.

    To sum up, the Islamic Revolution that triumphed in Iran in 1979 and has spread its influence worldwide in the face of the most intricate American plots, was and is, the harbinger of the global movement of Imam Mahdi (AS), who on his advent will be assisted in his humanitarian mission by Prophet Jesus (AS), whose reappearance will definitely make scores of millions of Christians assemble under the universal banner of Islam to deal the deathblow to the satanic Zionists.
