Yemeni Resolve to Drive Out Zionists from Socotra and from Palestine

On Friday the streets of the capital Sana’a and other cities of independent northern Yemen overflowed with peaceful protestors marking the 5th martyrdom anniversary of a leading member of the popular Ansarullah Movement and vowing to liberate the Saudi-UAE occupied parts of their country as well as Palestine from Zionist usurpation.
The Yemenis also reaffirmed their resolve to evict Israelis from Abd al-Kuri Island of the picturesque Socotra Archipelago where the Zionists have been given a base by the UAE occupiers by forcibly deporting the native Yemeni families to other parts.
Over the past 8 years, the Yemeni people, despite their meagre resources, have fiercely defended their homeland against the Anglo-American-backed invasion by the Riyadh and Abu Dhabi regimes which have bombed to dust the infrastructure of the Arab World’s most impoverished country and killed – directly or indirectly –some 230,000 (two hundred and thirty thousand) men, women, and children
Among the martyrs have been some leading members of the Sana’a based legitimate government, including Saleh Ali as-Sammad, the head of the Ansarullah Supreme Political Council, who was assassinated by an American Saudi operated drone in the northern city of Sa’ada in 2018.
The indomitable Yemenis, thanks to their ingenuity, have manufactured a series of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) called Sammad-1, 2, and 3 – in memory of the martyr – capable of striking targets deep into Saudi Arabia and as far away as the UAE.
This has definitely unnerved their enemies, including the Zionists, which may be targeted by such long range radar-evading drones in Socotra, and (if the need be), in the heart of the usurped land of Palestine itself.
For the moment, the Yemeni government has called on the United Nations and relevant international bodies to adopt proper measures against expulsion of Yemeni families by the United Arab Emirates from the strategic Abd al-Kuri Island where a military base is being illegally built under supervision of Israeli military experts.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, Fisheries and Water Resources of the National Salvation Government has demanded urgent measures from the World Body in this regard.
It said the displacement of locals and fishermen from the said Yemeni island and their relocation to the coastal city of Hadibu serves as a flagrant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, and poses serious threats to the residents of nearby islands as well as to international navigation through the strategic Gulf of Aden.
These demands should not be ignored, since the government in Sana’a has every right to retaliate.
The Saudis and the Emiratis are very well aware of the power of retaliation of the Ansarullah Movement, and like the Americans and the British, it is time the Israelis also become properly aware of the capabilities of the Yemeni army.
Hopefully, the UN Security Council will heed the demands of the Yemeni government and force the Emiratis and the Israelis to vacate this and other islands. If not, the World Body would be solely responsible for the consequences.
