Ulyanov: Ultimatum Doesn’t Work With Iran
VIENNA (Dispatches) -- A senior Russian diplomat on Monday criticized the European Union’s diplomatic approach to Iran, emphasizing that the language of “ultimatum” does not work with the Iranian authorities.
“Brussels doesn’t understand that such language doesn’t work with the authorities of Iran,” tweeted Russian Ambassador to Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov after EU foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell said he had called on Iran among other things to urgently cooperate with the UN nuclear agency.
