Iranian-Finnish feature ‘Layers of Lies’ has managed to grab an award in the London Director Awards in the United Kingdom.
The film brought its director Ramin Sohrab the Best Director Action award in the 2022/23 Winter Edition of the event.
It is the first Iranian-Finnish action film.
‘Layers of Lies’ is co-produced by Finland’s Sonram Productions and Farabi Cinema Foundation in Iran.
The film is about a fireman who saves a person in an incident.
It is “an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride through the bustling, diverse metropolis of Tehran,” a synopsis for the film reads.
The cast members of ‘Layers of Lies’ include Ramid Sohrab, Nader Falahi, Majid Saeidi, Venus Kaneli, Arsalan Qasemi, and Jessica Wolff.
