Judiciary Rejects Freed Detainees Had to Sign Commitments
TEHRAN -- Iran’s Judiciary rejects reports about the alleged exaction of various commitments from inmates, who were recently pardoned as part of an amnesty offered by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The Judiciary’s Media Center said the allegations had been circulated in order to try to tarnish the sanctity of the amnesty that had been offered by the Leader as well as the joyful social atmosphere that followed the issuance of the decree.
