TEHRAN – Iranian women won four medals on the first day of (Para) World Taekwondo President’s Cup – Europe 2023 in Turkiye on Saturday.
Maryam Abdullahpour and Rosa Ebrahimi won gold each, while Romina Chamsourki and Mahtab Nabavi won two bronze medals.
The two-day Para WT President’s Cup kicked off in the city of Istanbul on Saturday. On the second day of the tournament, Iranian men will face off their rivals.
The tournament will be followed by the 10th Turkish Open that will take place in the same city on February 6-7.
Iranian women are set to play in the 10th Turkish Open as well.
