No Lull in Zionist Aggression Against Palestinians

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – At least thirteen Palestinians have been injured after Zionist troops stormed a refugee camp in the West Bank, amid fears that the situation across the occupied territories is going to implode.
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Zionist troops broke into Aqbat Jabr camp, located southwest of Ariha in the Jordan Valley, on Saturday morning following a week-long siege.
The report, citing local sources, added that explosions and exchanges of gunfire were heard in the refugee camp later on.
Witnesses said Zionist troops opened live fire at Palestinians in the camp, and fired tear gas canisters as well as stun grenades while calling on people at a section of the camp to come out of their homes.
The troops broke into a poultry farm, and destroyed it in total.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said three of those injured by the regime’s gunfire are in serious condition.
Earlier, Zionist troops shot and killed a young Palestinian man south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, bringing the number of Palestinian fatalities from the violence this year to 36.
The Palestinian Red Crescent announced on Friday that Abdullah Samih, 25, died a few minutes after being critically injured by Israeli occupation soldiers at Hawwara checkpoint.
Israeli media, meanwhile, claimed the forces opened fire when he allegedly tried to grab a soldier’s gun.
Violence simmers in the West Bank. Eight minors are also among the fatalities.
In one of the deadliest raids in years, Zionist troops killed nine Palestinians and wounded 20 others in the Jenin refugee camp on January 26, sparking international condemnation.
Also on Friday, Zionist settlers and military attacked a peaceful tree-planting event in the town of Tuqu, southeast of Bethelem.
The Palestinian resistance movement has released a video showing its retaliatory missile operation to confront Zionist airstrikes on the besieged Gaza Strip.
The Qassam brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas resistance movement, broadcasted the video on Thursday, showing their air defenses tackling the Zionist warplanes as the aircraft was attacking the blockaded enclave.
On its telegram channel, the Qassam brigades said that, “They confronted heavy Israeli air raids with surface-to-air and anti-aircraft missiles,” as the warplanes were bombing a number of different sites in separate raids in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian resistance also fired a number of retaliatory rockets at the illegal Israeli settlements.
