TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iran’s Cinema Museum is slated to launch an exhibition of Fajr Film Festival nostalgias.
The exhibition will launch at the Cinematograph Hall of the museum on the sidelines of the 41st edition of Fajr Film Festival.
The event includes the screening program of the first periods of the festival, administrative letters of the festival related to the year 1982, Simorgh Awards, daily bulletins related to the first periods, entrance cards to popular cinemas, cinema tickets and photos of long queues to see movies.
This year, the domestic and international versions of the FIFF will be once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival” after five editions of separate versions.
The FIFF coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.
The 41st edition of the festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, will take place on February 1-10.
