TEHRAN -- The head of the special committee for pursuing the case of Lt. Gen. Soleimani’s assassination says the U.S. must extradite the perpetrators of the crime to Iran.
In a tweet on Saturday, Abbasali Kadkhodaei wrote: “Under the 1973 Convention, the U.S. must take appropriate measures to either prosecute suspects for the assassination of persons protected by the Conv.” Kadkhodaei noted that the U.S. must extradite criminals for prosecution in the state the victim belonged to it. “Will the U.S. fulfill its obligations?” he asked.
