TEHRAN – Iran’s Nima Alamiyan has secured a quota at the World Table Tennis Championships (WTTC) Finals.
Alamiyan could stand among the top 16 players at the WTTC Asia Continental Stage underway in Qatar.
Noshad Alamiyan, Amir HUssein Hodaee, and Amin Ahmadian are other representatives of Iran at the event.
Alamiyan shocked China’s Lin 4-2 in the first round of the 2022 Table Tennis Asian Cup.
The 2023 WTTC Finals will take place in Durban, South Africa from May 20 to 28.
