Belgian National Indicted for Espionage
TEHRAN – The Iranian judiciary has found a Belgian national guilty of spying for the U.S. government, Tasnim reported on Tuesday.
The Belgian national has been convicted of crimes such as “spying for the hostile U.S. government and money-laundering”, it added. The source said the convict was visiting to Iran under the guise of philanthropic activities. The defendant has been found guilty of at least four charges and criminal acts.
