TEHRAN – The director-general of the international business development office Rouhollah Estiri has said that Iran and Venezuela can promote cooperation in scientific fields.
Estiri said that Iran and Venezuela have developed their political and economic relations for several years.
Venezuela enjoys oil and mineral revenues, and its trade relations with Iran can be done through bartering, he said.
In the current year, a Venezuelan delegation paid a visit to Iran so that it was acquainted with the achievements of Iran in the field of science and technology, Estiri further said.
Also, a delegation from Iran went to Venezuela to introduce the achievements of Iranian knowledge-based firms to the Venezuelan investors, he added.
Iran and Venezuela can develop their cooperation in the fields of vaccines, agricultural products, environmental products, medical equipment such as linear accelerators for cancer treatment, dialysis machines, information technology, and telecommunications sectors, he said.
This country has announced that it can benefit from Iranian products and technologies in the mentioned sectors, according to him.
