IME Weekly Trade Exceeds $572mn

TEHRAN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 2,305,088 tonnes of commodities and 2,506 vehicles with a total value of more than $572 million on its physical market in the lat week.
The IME’s report said that over 1,844,503 tonnes of metal and mineral commodities, including 1,074,304 tonnes of cement, 330,000 tonnes of iron ore, 246,164 tonnes of steel, 224,150 tonnes of zinc, 8,050 tonnes of aluminum, 5,393 tonnes of copper, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 4 kg of gold bars and 2,506 vehicles with total value of $314 million were traded on its trading halls in the last week.
It also added that on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor, over 131,207 tonnes of bitumen, 103,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 95,664 tonnes of polymeric products, 38,666 tonnes of chemicals, 32,600 tonnes of lube cut, 5,530 tonnes of sulfur, 4,789 tonnes of base oil, 1,800 tonnes of petroleum products and 160 tonnes of insulation with total value of $235 million were traded in the last week.
Commodities traded on this floor included The IME also traded within the same week 47,948 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
