Progress Despite Criminal Sanctions

Salaam dear young friends. We extend our heartfelt condolences to you on the tragic martyrdom anniversary of the Noblest-ever lady that we commemorated yesterday on the 3rd of Jamadi as-Sani (Tuesday December 27).
Mourning ceremonies were held throughout Iran on this occasion, as people of all ages, especially the youth and children, paid homage to Hazrat Fatema Zahra (SA), the Immaculate Daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA).
The blessed lady who left the world in the prime of youth, leaving behind four little children – two sons and two daughters – continues to teach our societies how to mold our life on the basis faith and virtue, in the face of the most adverse circumstances.
That is the reason the Prophet and his blessed household, who are the chosen of God, serve as model for us.
The Ahl al-Bayt or the People of the House, as they are called in the Holy Qur’an, are in the words of God Almighty (33:33) spotlessly pure, and thus the paragons of virtue whom we ought to emulate.
Our youth and our children are indeed indebted to our parents for giving us a proper upbringing on the basis of the teachings of Islam.
It is Islam that instills in us the love for our parents and vice-versa – the deep affection of the parents for the children.
It is narrated from Prophet Muhammad (SAWA): A person who has a child, should behave like a child with the toddler.
It is narrated from Imam Ali (AS): Anybody who has a child, should, for his/her training, bring themselves down to their level of childhood.
Alas, in contrast to these dynamic teachings, the secular or Godless societies that blindly pursue materialism are enslaving children despite their claim to be advocates of human rights.
Well, as you youngsters know, today is the 7th of the Iranian month of Dey and we are marking the anniversary of the literacy campaign that was launched in Iran on the orders of that Sage of the Age, Imam Khomeini (RA), following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. Those were the days when more than half of the Iranian population was illiterate, since the tyrannical Pahlavi regime – installed by the British and backed by the Americans – was against the national values and religious culture of the Iranian Muslim people.
Thanks to the efforts of the Islamic Republic, today some 95% of the Iranians are literate, while 98 % of the country’s population enjoy the blessing of education.
This progress has come despite the criminal sanctions imposed on Iran by the Great Satan (US) and its devilish lackeys. This is the key to the success of Iran in thwarting the plots of Global Arrogance and its agents.
Well friends, as you all know, this is our last chat of the Gregorian Calendar Year 2021, which means our next meeting will be in 2023.
So let us first felicitate our Christian readers on the occasion of Christmas which they celebrated last Sunday as the supposed birthday of Prophet Jesus (AS). We also wish them a happy New Year, which they would be celebrating coming Sunday.
God bless you all, good-bye till next week.
