The Dragon to Drive Away the Bald-Headed Eagle

With the advent of China into the Persian Gulf and West Asia, the US is already beginning to see nightmares.
President Xi Jinping said without mincing any words that Beijing fully supports the Palestinian cause and served notice to the oil-rich sheikhdoms that all crude transactions will be in Yuan instead of the American dollar.
Washington is already feeling the jitters, but there is nothing it can do to stem the growing tide of Beijing’s growing influence.
Xi in his address to the summit of the 6-nation Persian Gulf Cooperative Council in Saudi Arabia, said the Shanghai Petroleum and National Gas Exchange is to be used by China and Persian Gulf countries to settle oil and gas trades in yuan.
This was a rude shock for the US dollar, which is on the slide worldwide. Many countries including Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as Turkey have dropped the dollar in their trade transactions.
China is the world’s fastest growing economy. In fact, it is the leading economic power and has overtaken the US in this vital field, much to the alarm of the West, whose political clout is also on the wane in international equations.
On the chromic question of Palestine Xi said: “The Palestine issue is vital to the peace and stability in West Asia.
He added that the “historical injustice” suffered by the Palestinian people cannot continue indefinitely.
All this indicates that the Dragon is determined to drive away the Bald-Headed Eagle, not just from the Persian Gulf and the entire West Asian region but also from other parts of the world, including Africa and Latin America.
For its part, the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes the replacement of the American dollar with the Chinese Yuan.
Tehran already trades with many world countries in their respective currencies, and rightly thinks that the gradual scrapping of the US dollar is beneficial for regional and world peace.
The US has a sordid record of meddling in the affairs of other countries and attempting to ruin their economies and political systems.
It is also trying to provoke China by interfering in its internal affairs through support for the breakaway island of Taiwan.
Beijing has already served notice to Washington that it will not tolerate its poking of the nose in Chinese affairs.
All this means the days of American hooliganism are nearing their end, and once the US is restricted within its boundaries in Northern America, the world will be a peaceful place to live in.
