After over two months of denial of their devilry in using thugs, traitors, and terrorists to indulge in arson, plunder, murder, and blasphemy in some parts of Iran last September, the US and its accomplices in western Europe have admitted their crimes against the Islamic Republic.

 They are now shamelessly saying they are ready to drop their support for the now utterly routed rioters if Tehran were to surrender its sovereignty, integrity, and suzerainty, by returning to the pre-revolution days of an American satellite state devoid of any independence.

 It is indeed a joke to think that Iran would be lured into injecting crude oil and natural gas into the US dominated so-called global energy markets to make up for the severance of these hydrocarbon supplies from Russia.   

 A bigger joke is the condition that Iran meekly endorse the badly breached and highly flawed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as per the illogical demands set by Britain, France and Germany – to deprive the Islamic Republic of its inalienable right to enrich uranium to 60 percent plus purity for peaceful purpose.

 The joke draws even more loud laughter when the supporters of rioters, murderers, thugs, traitors, and terrorists, want the popular system of the Islamic Republic government that is based upon the holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s Sunnah, and the dynamic legacy of the Infallible Ahl al-Bayt to accept the lawlessness in the region of a pseudo state called Saudi Arabia.

 The regime in Riyadh is devoid of any historical, geographical and cultural roots. It is the creation of colonial Britain and the Wahhabi minority cultish clan that rules it, survives only because of American support.

 Although it claims to be Muslim, it is diametrically opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Saudi Arabia is notorious for its enmity to the Prophet’s Blessed Household whose shrines it has demolished and prevents pilgrims from visiting them. 

 In addition, unlike Iran’s popular appeal amongst independent governments and freedom movements, it funds the most macabrely murderous terrorist outfits such as the Takfiris to destabilize countries to the benefit of the US.

 The joke takes a clumsy turn when the West calls upon Tehran to sever all diplomatic, economic and trade relations with Moscow, and break off any form of cooperation with Russians.

 We end the Viewpoint Column by recalling the wise words of the Prophet’s 4th Infallible Heir, Imam Zain al-Abedin (AS): Praised be God for making our enemies idiots.
