WASHINGTON (Dispatches) -- The U.S. military may run out of money for the Ukraine conflict as Republicans are planning to cut Pentagon appropriations for Ukraine, Politico magazine reports. Citing U.S. Department of Defense internal documents and officials familiar with the matter, it said Congress has until December 16 to pass a full-year defense stopgap bill, known as a continuing resolution, or a CR, as Republicans and Democrats debate appropriations. The resolution is supposed to cut Pentagon funding by $29 billion compared to what the Biden administration requested for the fiscal year 2023.
