TEHRAN - Iranian karate fighters have collected a total of 10 medals in the Universe International Championship tournament held in the Russian capital Moscow.
The Iranian karatekas snatched one gold, five silvers and four bronzes in the competition which was held during November 24-27.
Iran’s only gold medal of the tournament went to world bronze medalist Sara Bahmanyar, a female karate practitioner who has also represented Iran in the Olympics.
