IME Weekly Trade Reaches $454mn

TEHRAN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 1,951,064 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than $454 million were traded on its physical markets in the last week.
The IME’s report added, over 1,565,000 tonnes of metal and mineral commodities including 1,205,515 tonnes of cement, 110,000 tonnes of iron ore, 122,161 tonnes of steel, 89,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 23,050 tonnes of zinc, 6,550 tonnes of aluminum, 6,705 tonnes of copper, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 124 kg of gold bars and 1,208 vehicles with total value of $244 million were traded in the last week.
The report said, on both domestic and export rings of IME’s oil and petrochemical trading floor, over 91,727 tonnes of polymeric products, 113,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 17,100 tonnes of lube cut, 33,126 tonnes of chemicals, 12,840 tonnes of sulfur, 270 tonnes of argon, 6,664 tonnes of base oil, 300 tonnes of insulation and 109,390 tonnes of bitumen with total value of $141 million were traded in the last week.
