Iran Defeat Uzbekistan at 2022 Asian Women’s Handball Championship

TEHRAN– Iran have defeated Uzbekistan 35-32 at the 2022 Asian Women’s Handball Championship.
Iran started the competition with a 43-35 win over India.
Team Melli Banovan will play Australia in Group A on Sunday.
Group B consists of Japan, Kazakhstan, Thailand, China and Hong Kong.
The 2022 Asian Women’s Handball Championship is the 19th edition of the Asian Women’s Handball Championship. It is taking place in South Korea from November 24 to December 4.
The tournament will be held under the aegis of the Asian Handball Federation and acts as the Asian qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Women’s Handball Championship, with the top five teams qualifying.
