As the saying goes “better late than never”, the decision by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) to increase uranium level enrichment to 60 percent purity for peaceful use of nuclear energy has been hailed by Iranians of all strata of society as well as well-wishers worldwide.
Until now most people were asking why the Islamic Republic does not exercise its peaceful nuclear rights of increasing uranium enrichment, in accordance with the clauses of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), to meet requirements of its rapidly growing industries that range from agricultural projects and medical/ pharmaceutical enterprises to maritime operation and aerospace exploration.
An independent country, possessing highly skilled manpower and sensitive to the conspiracies of hegemonic powers, cannot and should not depend on what other countries have achieved and pretend to supply some limited amount of fuel or low quality products.
Moreover, most of these promises are empty, even by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and a ruse to keep a country underdeveloped, as is evident by the fate of the highly flawed and badly breached Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Iran, after years of cooperation with the Vienna based unprofessional UN agency headed by undiplomatic and at times inimical directors, who act according to the script given by the US and West European colonialists, has finally informed the IAEA of its inalienable right to upgrade uranium enrichment for meeting the needs of its civilian industries.
It is now crystal clear, after the recent politically motivated and blatantly anti-Iran resolution of the IAEA, that any delay by the Islamic Republic in deferring further its legitimate measures in the civilian nuclear fields, will be detrimental to the nation’s integrity and the welfare of the Iranian people.
The installation of the two new IR2M and IR4 cascades at the Natanz and Fordow facilities are not contrary to the IAEA safeguards (the flawed JCPOA included) neither do they disturb the natural environment nor do they pose any danger to other countries.
Here it should be noted that Iran is the only world country that considers nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction to be “haram” (religiously forbidden), and has always emphasized disarmament on the global scale in the interests of humanity, of which the regimes of the West are the least concerned, as is evident by their indulgence in destructive activities ranging from manufacture of WMDs to triggering of climatic catastrophes and the satanic urge to meddle in the affairs of other countries by imposing upon them sanctions, sedition, terrorism, riots, wars and bloodshed.
Therefore, in view of these facts, the Islamic Republic of Iran with its fast growing economy for the welfare of its patient and patriotic people whose solidarity has defeated every intricate plot of the enemies over the past four decades, needs to enhance uranium enrichment to whatever levels its industries require in various sectors including medicine, agriculture, aerospace, and nuclear-powered civilian ships and submarines in order to safeguard regional and global peace and security.
