TEHRAN (IBNA) -- Attending the
closing ceremony of the 15th Iran’s Regional (Navahi) Music Festival in Gorgan last night, Culture Minister Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili wrote in his message that the ministry will pay more attention this folk music.
The message of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance was published on the Iranian the Iranian digital media application Rubika: “Last night, at the closing ceremony of the 15th Iran’s Regional (Navahi) Music Festival, I was the guest of the musicians from the beloved regions of our country, who like a rainbow presented a diversity of culture and people in the Fakhr -uddin Asad Gorgani Hall of the city of Gorgan.”
“The music of regions is one of the most significant factors in the cultural connection of our beloved Iran. Poetry and music are precious heritages that not only boost the cultural ties among different ethnic groups of Iran, but are also instrumental in our regional integration beyond the borders and in the cultural field of the Greater Iran. Paying attention to the expansion of regional music in Iran is one of the special tasks of the Ministry of Culture in the new era.
The 15th edition of Iran’s Regional Music Festival opened on Monday with a focus on musical commonalities of Muslim communities and wrapped up last night.
