IME Weekly Trade Tops $660mn
TEHRAN – The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 2,338,802 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than $665 million were traded on its physical market in the last week.
The IME’s report said that, on its metals and minerals trading floor trade over 1,908,000 tonnes of commodities including 1,143,881 tonnes of cement, 311,000 tonnes of iron ore, 341,191 tonnes of steel, 98,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 8,300 tonnes of zinc, 7,385 tonnes of aluminum, 12,898 tonnes of copper, 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 104 kg of gold bars and 678 vehicles with total value of $424 million were traded in the its trading halls.
It said, over 412,926 tonnes of oil and petrochemical commodities including 91,618 tonnes of polymeric products, 118,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 71,000 tonnes of lube cut, 35,325 tonnes of chemicals, 123 tonnes of sulfur, 200 tonnes of argon, 6,254 tonnes of base oil, 200 tonnes of insulation and 77,188 tonnes of bitumen with total value of $234 million were traded on its trading halls in the last week.
Commodities traded on this floor included The IME also traded within the same week 17,335 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
