‘Cloudy Man’ Hits Screens at Baku Event

TEHRAN (IFILM) --
Iranian short flick ‘Cloudy Man’ has been scheduled to take part at the 13th Baku International Short Film Festival (BISFF) in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Written and directed by Shahin Jalali, the flick will be screened at the International Short Film Competition section of the 2022 edition of the screening event.
‘Cloudy Man’ tells the story of a man facing some unexpected events.
The cast list of the flick includes Mahmoud Nazaralian, Akbar Sadeqi, Ardeshir Zahed, Hamdollah Salimi, Rasoul Alinejad and Mohammad Faraji.
‘Cloudy Man’ has already taken part in a number of global events, including the 26th Busan Int’l Film Festival in South Korea, the 8th Iranian Film Festival of Zurich in Switzerland and the 15th Grand OFF World Independent Film Awards in Poland, where it was nominated for best actor in a short film award.
The Baku International Short Film Festival, founded in 2004, is a platform for award-winning and successful films at Cannes, Venice, Berlin Film Festivals and the Oscars.
Each year, the most exciting films among more than 1500 films sent from different countries of the world are selected and included in the program of the festival.
The goal of the festival is “to familiarize local authors with international practices and trends,” writes the online submission platform of the event.
The festival’s upcoming edition is scheduled for November 11-15, 2022 in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
