Three Important Occasions
Salaam dear young friends, how are you? Hope you are all doing well by the grace of Almighty Lord.
Tomorrow happens to be the 8th of the lunar month of Rabi as-Sani, the day on which the 11th Infallible Heir of the blessed household of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) was born in 232 AH, exactly 1212 years ago in holy Medina.
He is none other Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS), the father of the Lord of the Age, Imam Mahdi (AS), whose reappearance we are awaiting for establishment of the global government of peace, prosperity, and justice.
Unfortunately, there are no public celebrations in holy Medina because of the occupation of Hijaz, the Land of Revelation, by the Wahhabi clan of Aal-e Saud, which brutally bombs to death children in Yemen, after having destroyed in Hijaz all places associated with Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and the Immaculate Ahl al-Bayt, there are no public celebrations of the birth anniversary of Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS).
In Samarra, however, the atmosphere is of peace, harmony, happiness, as pilgrims pour in from all over Iraq, as well as from other parts of the world, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, to pay homage at the shrine of the 11th Imam, who reposes in eternal peace beside his peerless father, Imam Ali al-Hadi (AS).
Perhaps many of you youngsters have visited Samarra, as well as the holy city of Qom in Iran, where people are in a joyous mood since last night, particularly at Jamkaran Mosque which is associated with Imam Mahdi (AS).
Well friends, Friday happens to be the 13th of Aban. This day is called the Day of National Campaign against Global Arrogance.
It is a day of triumph for the aspirations of the Late Imam Khomeini, who on this day in 1964 was exiled to Turkey on US orders – a measure that ultimately boomeranged on the Pahlavi regime. That is the reason Iran and the Iranians cannot afford to given up the slogan of “Death to the US.”
This was indeed a great blow to Washington and that explains for the avowed hostility of Uncle Sam towards the Iranian people, against whom none of the plots have succeeded.
A day after tomorrow, however, as Friday gives way to the eve of Saturday, the mood of the people of Qom, and of course, all of Iran, will change to expression of grief.
Why? Because Friday the 10th of Rabi as-Sani is the day on which Our Blessed Lady of Qom, Hazrat Fatema Ma’souma (SA), left the mortal world after a brief 17-day sojourn that transformed this Iranian city on the edge of the desert into a staircase towards paradise.
This was all for this week’s chat. Good-bye till next week.
