‘The Sea’ Hits Screens at U.S. Film Fiesta
TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short film ‘The Sea’ has been on screen at the OC Film Fiesta in the U.S.
Written and directed by Sahra Ramezanian, the flick will be among the works to compete at the 13th edition of the American event.
The film is about a group of friends who are planning for a trip to the north of Iran, not knowing an unexpected event is expecting them.
Farzaneh Salahshour, Farzad Alavi, Pouya Haqiqi and the director are among the cast members of the flick.
The film has already taken part in a number of global events, including the London Short Film Festival in the U.S., the Madrid International Independent Film Festival in Spain, the Twin Rivers Media Festival in the U.S. and the Mister Vorky, an the International Festival of One Minute Film, in Serbia.
The OC Film Fiesta is “the premier cinematic celebration of Orange County’s diversity and multicultural heritage”.
“Each year, the Film Fiesta presents an award-winning selection of feature films, documentaries, short films and activities for a diverse audience of families, students, artists, professionals and lovers of cinema from throughout the county.”
The 13th OC Film Fiesta has been underway since October 23 and it is set to end on November 02.
