Highly Praised ‘Graveyard’ Goes to Bangladeshi Event

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- Iranian short flick ‘Graveyard’ has been going on screen at the International Inter University Short Film Festival (IIUSFF) in Bangladesh.
The 14th edition of the event has been screening the Iranian flick directed by Ali Daraee.
“Reyhaneh was the reason for her baby’s death. Now, in the absence of his runaway husband, she is looking for a way to bury the baby. She deals with different hardships but eventually finds a way to get what she wants,” a synopsis of the film reads.
‘Graveyard’ has already been shown at the Indiecork International Film Festival in Ireland and the Religion Today Film Festival in Italy, where it won the best short film award.
Launched in 2007, The IIUSFF started its journey with the goal to provide a platform for young and talented student filmmakers in Bangladesh and overseas to showcase their talent.
The 2022 edition of the event, slated for October 11-25, is currently underway.
