Iran Withdraws From Frankfurt Book Fair
TEHRAN -- Iran’s House of Book and Literature has withdrawn from the 74th Frankfurt International Book Fair in protest at the unprofessional behavior of its officials.
The decision came after interventionist remarks by the book fair’s officials and their declaration of inability to provide security for Iran’s national stand and team at the exhibition, besides moving Iran’s stand from the main hall to one of the sub-halls with limited public access, IRNA reported.
