Iranian Musician Nominated for U.S. Media Awards

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The 13th Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) has bestowed a nomination upon Iranian music composer, pianist and orchestra conductor Mohammad-Reza Ajdari.
Ajdari won the nomination for his instrumental composition ‘Nil’ at the Instrumental Section of the 2022 HMMA.
Ajdari is competing with some high profile international musicians, including Alex Kovacs, Cynthia Thijs Coenraad, David Lanz and Kristin Amarie, Edu Vico, Girlie Vasallo, Kilian Alos, Nathalie Bonin, Roman Miroshnichenko, and Tomas Videla.
Ajdari is also one of the record holders of the 2021 edition of the Film Music Contest (FMC) for his composition titled ‘Dance of the Rain’ from ‘Miracle of Love’ album.
Born in 1989 in Tehran, Ajdari made his first song in 2004 called ‘Your Voice’. His orchestra was registered in 2014 under the name of ‘Padramad’ in the music office of ‘Vahdat Hall’.
Ajdari’s first non-verbal music album called ‘Miracle of Love’ was published in 2018 with the official permission of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The album came with a book called ‘Miracle of Love for Piano’.
The HMMA is the first award organization to honor original music (song and score) in all visual media from around the globe including film, TV, video games, trailers, commercial advertisements, documentaries and special programs.
The HMMA will release the winners’ list on November 16, 2022.
