TEHRAN – Iranian national field and track girls’ team’s Melika Nowruzi and Mahdis Minaipur in hammer throw field of the Asian Field and Track Championship have won the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
On the first day of the 2022, the 4th Asian Field and Track Championship, in hammer throw field the Iranian team’s Melika Nowruzi recorded 57.84-meter throw, and stood second after her Korean competitor, to win the silver medal.
Also, the Iranian team’s Mahdis Minaipour recorded 54.02-meter through, ranked 3rd and won the bronze medal.
The 2022, 4th Asian Field and Track Championship, hosted by Kuwait is being held in Kuwait City from October 13 to 17.
