The opening ceremony of “Cultural Week of the Republic of Tajikistan in Iran” will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022, with the presence of the Ministers of Culture of Iran and Tajikistan and the head of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communications as well as domestic and foreign cultural and artistic figures in Tehran, Iran.
Earlier, the Tajik ambassador to Tehran Nizamuddin Zahedi described circumstances in the Islamic Republic of Iran as appropriate for the expansion of cultural interactions with neighboring countries, particularly with Tajikistan.
Iran-Tajikistan cultural relationship stands at a very good level, which can enhance other areas of ties, Zahedi said, adding, “We enjoy abundant commonalities between the two nations in order to have achievements in this field, and these commonalities are in fact a very proper ground for enhancing cultural relationship between Iran and Tajikistan.”
