IRGC Chief Issues Warning to U.S., UK, Saudi Arabia:

Expect Iran’s Retaliation!

TEHRAN -- Chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hussein Salami on Sunday said the enemies of Iran have launched a political and media campaign to make up for their failures.
“I can see with my own eyes and say that America has failed. All evil and wicked parties of the world have, therefore, come together to compensate for their defeats. They have embarked on a political and media campaign,” he said.
“One could see the manifestation of the enemies’ onslaught aimed at making up for their humiliating defeats. They do not want to allow the existence of a powerful, influential, and sovereign country ruled by Islam,” he added.
Gen. Salami said the U.S. views Iran’s regional clout as a major obstacle to its political, security, economic and cultural hegemony in the Muslim world, which is the most important part of the world.
U.S. politicians, he said, are trying to stop Iran’s influence in the Middle East because they want to prolong their stay in the region, destabilize nations, impose their diktats on them and advance their agendas.
“The Americans want to mobilize our youths against the Islamic establishment by means of trickery and deception. This is the last policy of the enemies. They are betting on a combination of anything employed before, but we have the experience and that would be enough to know enemies,” Gen. Salami said.
The top general said a few Iranian youths wreaking havoc on the streets have actually been deceived, adding Iranians know how to defeat their enemies.
“We warn our enemies, America, England, Saudi Arabia, and those who are trying to harm our country through destructive and vicious media outlets that we will trounce you. There is no way to infiltrate this land,” he said.
Gen. Salami stressed that Iranians from all strata of the society are strong, prudent, and against foreign powers’ conspiracies.
He vowed revenge and massive retaliation against hostile acts of the enemies, whether their downing of an Iranian drone or a terrorist attack on a police station in the southeastern city of Zahedan.
In a statement, the so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack in Zahedan.
President Ebrahim Raisi said Sunday the enemies have failed to advance their latest conspiracy against Iran.
President Raisi touched on the Western media hype about the death of Mahsa Amini, a young Iranian woman who died in hospital

after her sudden collapse at police station in Tehran, saying the incident is being “thoroughly investigated”.
“The enemy is trying, through extensive media measures, to divert the public opinion. We see that a group of Afghan girls are killed at an educational facility by terrorists who have the U.S. support, but there is no reaction from those who claim” to be advocates of human rights,” Raisi said.
“Under the circumstances, does the West’s claim of being concerned about human rights and the rights of women seem acceptable?” he said.
The president said the enemies have plotted in vain to prevent Iran’s progress.
“At a time when the Islamic Republic is weathering economic problems and is more actively present in the region and the world, the enemies entered the arena to isolate the country, but they failed in this conspiracy,” Raisi said.
