IRGC Kills Assassin of Intel Operative
TEHRAN – Iran’s security forces have killed the assassin of a ranking commander of the IRGC intelligence department in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, an informed source said Saturday.
The assassin, identified as a sniper, had shot Seuyed Ali Mousavi in a targeted shooting attack. Deputy commander of the provincial IRGC unit for intelligence, General Hamidreza Hashemi, aka Seyed Ali Mousavi, was martyred in Zahedan on Friday after clashes reupted between security forces and terrorists near the Makki Mosque.
