Celebrated Violinist Finalist of Osaka’s Music Competition

TEHRAN (IP) - Amin Ghafari, one of the musicians of prestigious Iranian music ensembles, made it to Japan’s World Violin Competition finals.
Oasaka International Music Competition is held in Osaka, Japan, with the participation of about 3,000 musicians in various instruments every year.
According to the Iran press news agency, ‘Amin Ghaffari’ in the first and second stages, which were held online, by sending videos of ‘Ysaÿe - Sonata’ and ‘Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto’, after being recognized as qualified candidate according to the opinion of the jury, made it to the final stage and on October 8 He will perform the song ‘Sarasate Zigeunerweisen’ in Osaka, Japan.
Zigeunerweisen, Op. 20, is a musical composition for violin and orchestra written in 1878 by the Spanish composer Pablo de Sarasate. It was premiered the same year in Leipzig, Germany
The Osaka competition is one of the most prestigious music competitions, and one of its prizes is for the winners of performances in big halls in different cities of the world, such as Paris, Seoul, and, of course, New York’s Carnegie Hall.
Establishing the international music group ‘Persian Gulf’ and holding several concerts with this group, releasing several singles in different fields, participating in various national and international orchestras as a soloist, and participating in the ‘Middle East International Academy’ festival are part of Amin Ghaffari’s activities in the field of music.
