Tehran, Tashkent After Broadening Cultural Ties
TEHRAN (IBNA) -- At a
summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation 2022 which is currently underway in Uzbekistan 17 memorandum of understanding and documents including one was signed between Iran’s and the hosting country.
According to public Relations and Information Department of Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the cultural agreement was signed between Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance represented by Culture Minister Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili and Uzbek officials.
The deal was a part of a bigger agreement inked between Iran and Uzbekistan which also contains increasing cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, customs, efforts to develop cooperation in sports, science, technology and innovation, cooperation in the field of health and treatment, operationalization of international transport through Chabahar port, environmental cooperation and development Tourism
Facilitation of issuing visas for businessmen, members of scientific and academic circles, and tourist groups are among the other deals signed between the authorities of the two countries.
