Award-Winning ‘Adjustment’ Hits Screens in Amsterdam

TEHRAN (IFILM) -- The Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has been set to host Iranian short flick ‘Adjustment’.
The 15-minute film, directed by Mehrdad Hassani, will compete at the 36th edition of the Dutch event.
‘Adjustment’ tells the story of little kid who has been shamed and pushed away by his family and friends. Having been through variety of ordeals and with a messed up mind and identity, Shahrokh, must face the people of his village and show up in the class before his classmates.
The main cast members of the flick are Mansour Nasiri, Moeen Asoudeh and Fatemeh Moradi.
The short film has already participated in a number of global events, including the aGLIFF filmfest in the U.S. and the Oscar-qualifying Busan International Short filmfest in South Korea, where it grabbed the Grand Prix.
As an international multi-day event for the children’s media industry, the Cinekid Festival promotes quality in children’s and youth media.
This year’s edition of the fest is slated for October 15-30.
