Zionist Drone Crashes in West Bank

WEST BANK (Dispatches) – A UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) belonging to the Zionist regime has crashed in the occupied West Bank over what the occupying regime claims to be a “technical malfunction.”
Palestinian media cited the Zionist regime’s military as saying that the incident took place near the city of Qalqilya early on Sunday when the drone was conducting reconnaissance flights over the area for a future campaign of arrests by the occupying regime.
The Israeli military also announced that the crash was “under investigation.”
The regime had earlier said it would use drones in the occupied West Bank for the first time when carrying out the arrests.
Last month, a Skylark drone was shot down by Palestinians in the north of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
The military drone, which was overflying an aggression by Zionist troops against Palestinians, was claimed by Tel Aviv to have crashed due to a technical fault.
The regime’s military has stepped up its deadly raids on the local population in and around the flashpoint cities and towns of the West Bank.
The incident comes a day after at least seven Zionist troops were injured after a guard tower was targeted by Palestinians with Molotov cocktails, in the Beit Ummar area, north of Al-Khalil, Hebrew media reported.
Reports added that the tower was targeted with a large number of Molotov cocktails, in addition to locally made canisters, which led to a fire inside the tower and the injuries of the soldiers.
The Palestinian media quoting local sources also confirmed that several Palestinians set alight with a Molotov cocktail the military turret belonging to the occupying regime troops.
