TEHRAN – Iran national junior boys table tennis team gained the bronze medal of the 2022, 26th Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships.
In the Asian table tennis junior competitions that are underway in Laos, on Friday the young Iranian players first beat South Korea to reach the semifinal match, but there they were defeated 1-3 by China, and for the first time in history gained the bronze medal at the junior level.
Members of the Iranian junior table tennis team include Benyamin Faraji, Sarman Karimi, and Muhammad Habibi, whose Head Coach is Mehran Ahadi, and the team manager is Muhammad Reza Miralmasi.
The 2022, 26th Asian Junior and Cadet Table Tennis Championships is being held on September 1-8 in Laos.
