NIOC Exports Over $107mn Via Iran Energy Exchange

TEHRAN - National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) cooperation has ended up in a remarkable increase in the country’s export of energy products in during the period of July 23 to August 22.
The volume of energy export increased to more than $107.5 million by the use of IRENEX’s domestic and international stock markets.
According to the Iranian oil ministry, some 100k tons of mazut, 83,174 tons of kerosene, 43,320 tons of diesel fuel and 10k tons of natural gas condensate of the South Pars Gas Field were sold by IRENEX’s international stock market, and 23,808 tons of natural gas condensate were sold by IRENEX’s domestic stock market in the mentioned period.
Some 135k tons of light naphtha were sold via nine 15k-tons shipments in the form of sea-freight condition, showing that the system of sale will improve if purchasers continue to embrace this sort of supply.
All mazut supplied by the National Iranian Oil Company were purchased in the during july-August trading.
The sale of mazut, kerosene, diesel and natural gas condensate generated 33,365,046,524,925 rials, including over 12k billion rials from diesel fuel and over 11k billion rials from mazut, as well as 7k billion rials from kerosene.
The foreign exchange revenue of the energy export stands at $107,555 million.
The Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) will resume trading after a three-week-long interval in October.
Energy experts believe that the pause will provide a good opportunity for marketing for future trades.
